BMA Automation at the FenaSucro Fair 2010 in Brazil
The 18th FenaSucro Fair will take place in Brazil this year, the largest sugar-producing country by far. More than 450 international exhibitors will take part in one of the world’s largest sugar fairs.
At the FenaSucro 2010 we are going to present our new microwave measuring technology for Brix-density measurement, DynFAS MW, and other interesting innovations from our portfolio to the Brazilian market.

Automation solutions for beet extraction plants and pulp presses
The requirements to be fulfilled by the drives for beet extraction towers and vertical pulp presses are continuously increasing. Up to ten gearboxes work in parallel on one bull gear. The most important aspects are to ensure a high failure safety during campaign operation and to transmit the huge torque while protecting the material from wear.
BMA Automation has therefore developed its own drive and control concept, which has been successfully applied for several years in many sugar factories... [>>]

ABB and the medium-sized BMA Group significantly strengthened their partnership last year for frequency converters, motors and controllers. For over 150 years, Braunschweigische Maschinenbauanstalt AG (BMA) has been one of the world’s leading suppliers to the sugar and sweetener industry. BMA Automation goes IT! – The new DynFAS DL data logger
BMA Automation GmbH is now presenting its DynFAS DL data logger, which is designed to meet the most demanding requirements in terms of reliability, logging intervals and logging capacity. Although a host of data loggers is available on the market, none of the systems is able to meet the very high requirements.
The new data logger has already furnished convincing proof of its practical benefits during a BMA AG research project: data were to be gathered in the course of a sugar campaign, with the aim of further improving a product that has been a proven performer for several decades. An extremely high resolution and reliable data logging were crucial, since, in the sugar industry, data can only be logged for the duration of the sugar campaign; missing information cannot be determined during off-seasons... BMA Schaltanlagen GmbH - now operates under the new name BMA Automation GmbH
With the expansion of our international activities we have renamed our subsidiary BMA Schaltanlagen GmbH into BMA Automation GmbH.
BMA Automation GmbH, the electrical engineering competence centre of the BMA Group, will continue to offer comprehensive solutions in industrial automation.
We should like to take this opportunity to thank all our business partners for their excellent cooperation. All indicators are pointing to an expansion of our business transactions in the new year.
